You are almost 100 % correct....It is a 964 narrow body (like mine) with aftermarket front fenders not a 993......There was a write up on his car in one of the car magazines. It does have a 993TT motor shoved in there though..
He used to belong to the Porsche club that I belong to..Not sure if he is still belongs.
There are videos of his running in the 9's already with an older Carrera
