Author needs advice on bikes or new book.
Hello all, I'm an author working on my second book and need some tech advice. I need reliable real world stats on what really juiced bike can do, and what that bike should be. From the videos on the sight I'm assuming a Huyabusa with some modifications would be the way to go, but feel free to correct me if something else is faster. Money is not really a problem, (luckily for me my main character is loaded) so I just need the very best. The bike will be introduced to the story by the mechanic who puts it together for him so I need to know about the kinds of things a mechanic would be talking about. Real 0 to 60 times, top speeds, quarter mile times and horsepower.
Also any info you mgiht have or websites you can point me to on learning to ride a bike like this would be great. I've taken a friends' Ducati 996 out for a couple of rides as "research" (man it's fun) and discovered you need alot of skills to get the most out a bike like that.
Also curious if there is any way to make a bike quieter maybe only part of the time even if it sacrifices some horsepower. Many thanks for your assistance, I'll let you all know when the book comes out and I will of course provide special thanks in the book to those of you who can be of help to me. Feel free to email me or reply to this post and I will get back to you quickly.
