That was crazy
I seen a 1955 Chevy Pro Mod have a nitrous 'burp' at one of our old local dragstrips. Guy did his burnout and then backed up to get ready to stage. He was purging the nitrous system, then he purged the system through the motor-he held the throttle at around 2000 rpm and then hit the button. On the second purge the nitrous solenoid got stuck and the fuel solenoid didnt=lots of fuel in the intake and then the nitrous solenoid activated. Result was a 'burp' of nitrous into the nice $$$$$ sheetmetal intake and BOOOOOOM, intake came off resulting in a pretty intense fire that melted the entire front of the car
Was not a pretty site.
