I haven’t lost grasp of anything, your argument might hold some water except for the fact that the last turbo only example I gave was the exact same engine as the T/SC combo engine. They are both 4.6L Mustang Cobra motors, same heads, valves, displacement, etc. The only difference if the power adder set up.

Why do people buy a 150hp shot of nos? Why not buy a 500hp fogger unit? People are going to set their hp goals and stick to it, running a turbo only kit @ 20-25psi will make way more power then most street cars could handle anyway.
