Anywhere in the US is better than California for car laws. Anywhere in the US is better than California for gun laws (my other hobby) except for Washington D.C.

Maryland aint better by very much, because our politicians are wanna-be californians, but its a touch better.

Kent Island is an island between regular Maryland and Eastern Shore Maryland. Its a small pocket of republican/conservatism in the sea of welfare recipient liberal democrats that is Maryland (thanks to Baltimore, Montgomery, and Prince George's County)

There is also a saying that goes "The only thing that separates *******s from rednecks is the Chesapeake Bay Bridge" (the one leading from the Annapolis area to Kent Island), because Annapolis has alot of snooty rich folk, and Kent Island/Eastern Shore has alot of big Turbo-Diesel driving rednecks.

Its alright here, but I'd rather live in Virginia, and plan to do so in the next couple years.
