FYI, your more likely to break down, this is my second Ford and I have had zero problems with both cars. Yes zero, and I kick the crap out of them. Last time I was at the track did 16 runs in two hours.
What ever happens, trust me, I could really careless. I'm there to have fun and also check out a new town etc.

As far as cars breaking down that all depends on the owner. I have heard ford owners call them nothing but shit and have them break down every other day. I have heard the same from a driver of every maker of car. The driver makes or breaks the car in most cases.
