Re: 3000gt v vr4 Vs. 07 mustang gt

Wow, you got some balls to post comments like you do when you never bothered to look at the car you were talking sh** about. Other than my intercooler, everything on my car is as stock as the day I rolled it off the dealership floor. And to find out that you have gone by the theory of " if it looks fast it must be fast" thats just crazy.
Lets say for instance you pay your car off, dump 15 to 18 thousand dollars into the motor and drive train, drive from point A to point B, and somewhere in the middle of those two someone in a stock Mustang with flowmasters on it wants to race. How much boost do you think you would use to stay just a car ahead of him?
(Not trying to start a fight, just sticking up for my comment, and by the way when you have a somewhat large turbo 0 psi helps out a lot more than you would think)
Something makes me want to ask the question that if this thread was about a 3000gt and a camaro we wouldn't be having this discussion .

I've never seen you giving anyone a hard time on here so take this with a grain of salt. Before you give 97Talon a hard time, the amount of power you make with a turbo is only half decided by the psi, the other half is up to the size of the turbo. My RS is set up for 15 psi and makes about 400 or so horses, My wrx with a 2.0 and a much smaller turbo @ around 14.5 psi makes 227, Skittles with a 2.2 and a different size turbo makes almost the same as the wrx.
As far as the 14 to 18 psi not being a lot, I don't think so. Take my t60 on the RS and crank that fuc*er up to 20 or 25 psi, THATS A LOT OF BOOST.
