Re: New Original Track vid - Stock LS-1 12.9
boys, boys, don't make me come back there! LOL!
I already researched the whole header thing for my LS-1 last summer and the stepped Kooks seemed to be what I was leaning towards, the money isn't a big thing. I do prefer jet-coated stainless for a number of reasons but last year they hadn't come out with their version with cutouts built in. I hoping I can get them to use me for a test mule. I dunno but the electric dumps, with my crappy ass sounding chokemaster stuffler masking what I have going until it is time to go is the sleeper trick I'm looking for. I add in HD RAM with a Billet Flywheel, 02 or McLeod TO bearing, drill out the TO master cylinder and some 6k launches and I should be mid 12's (until the 10 bolt detonates) with the same power. Right now I launch about 2500 and granny shift because the stock hydraulic clutch is very sluggish.
All that is on hold until I get the Cobra right though, because it is fun to drive now and I am trying to enjoy it, more that work on it for at least a little while longer.
