Default Re: New Original Track vid - Stock LS-1 12.9

I stand corrected. The info I give was based on the Stang and not LS engines.
However, when I talked to a Kooks rep, the said the SS headers make a little more power. If they do or dont just a heads up.

But, Long tubes are the best overall header choice for LSX based cars, they make the most power and TQ through the entire rpm range over a shortie or mid. And ceramic coated vs. stainless steel....there is no power difference.....that horse has been beaten to death by to many credible GM performance mags, internet sites etc..... Headers are just like any other product on the market, you pay for the name, just like tennis shoes.....My pacesetter LT's fit better, make the same power, and have lasted without tarnishing ( so far ) better than a friends Kooks headers.....and I paid $379 for mine, where he paid $999 for his.
