Kooks headers are a great choice. I'm sure you know this, but stick with stainless steel, even thou stainless will tarnish, it gives you that couple more hp over the more costly ceramic coated (which does not tarnish).
Another tip on the header, is if it's going to be a daily driver I'd stick with the shorty's, stay away from mid/ long tubes, cause you'll lose a little low, mid range power from my experience. (If I could do it over, I'd put on the shorty's unless I was going to turbo/ supercharge it.)
Look forward to seeing more vids.
sorry dude, but if you are giving him advice about modding his LSX based car w/ what you said you are wrong, if it's the stang you refer to then I cannot question you. But, Long tubes are the best overall header choice for LSX based cars, they make the most power and TQ through the entire rpm range over a shortie or mid. And ceramic coated vs. stainless steel....there is no power difference.....that horse has been beaten to death by to many credible GM performance mags, internet sites etc..... Headers are just like any other product on the market, you pay for the name, just like tennis shoes.....My pacesetter LT's fit better, make the same power, and have lasted without tarnishing ( so far ) better than a friends Kooks headers.....and I paid $379 for mine, where he paid $999 for his.
