It's not a pointless comparison..... It's a race! The Porsche weighs a lot less, is more aerodynamic, and is two wheel drive. The Audi might have more power, but it weighs a lot more and the all wheel drive system eats up a lot more power... and it has the aerodynamics of a brick.
I know of a really really fat guy who owns a Hyundai Sonata (I think, the older ones) with a Mitsu Eclipse engine and huge turbo. It's faster than a Lambo in a straight line race, you have to give credit where credit is due and not resort to saying something like "pointless comparison".
