The majority of the VW shows that ive been to have an engine blow contest. They put a flat 4 on a stand/trailer and you bet on how long it will run at w.o.t. The last show i seen one at, the engine ran for 5 minutes and never blew. They put a 100 shot of NOS on it and started again. Emptied the bottle and the motor lasted for 45 seconds after the NOS was all gone

Then it went!
End result-broke cam, 3 broke connecting rods, 1 rather large hole in case

I bet it would run for 4 minutes.
