forced induction or atmosferic engines dont affect cornering speed in any way, maybe just power delivery on the corner exit, but thats relative because its a set up issue not an engine fuction issue

again, thats a setup issue, not directly related to the way the engine works engine. What about turbo lag? high end power turbo engine have almost nothing in lower revs, so again you have to use a good dosage of throttle to gt it going without getting the turbo on anburning tyre.
It all comes down to personal tastes, aplication and setup, because either choice is valid if well engineered
