It's funny, at my local 1/8 mile dragstrip, runs a dodge omni with a shelby 2.5 L Turbo charged engine. It runs 7.5 secs @ 100mph

A friend of mine every few months takes his 12 second (1/4mile time) omni to irwindale, usually to break a transaxle tho. out of the lat 3 or 4 runs he has yet to make it down the strip. When running it's quick tho I swear! He runs the 2.2l bottom end tho, the 2.5 apparently has to long a stroke and is really stressed for high output.
