You are right about the headlights. I was trying to keep track of everything I was going to say, and messed up.

You will know what engine it has because ALL US and Canadian 240's have a KA24E or DE. If the motor has been swapped for an CA or SR the it WILL be advertised as such and cost a LOT more. Trust me if it has a motor swap they will be very proud of it.

As for the pictures... The first one (of the KA24) is from an Altima? The engine is turned sideways in front wheel drive cars, but looks the same, just imagine the engine front/back instead of side/side.
