The cars that the wife and I drove at the Marlboro school of racing were the Trans Am series cars, No, not the car the pontiac t/a, but the race series. Ours was a shell of a car that was stretched out and still resembled a dodge intrepid only it was a fiberglass shell, tube frame, 1 seat, 6 gauges, some switches and a shiter....oh...and 1 mirror. They are almost the same as a NASCAR and the power the oneswe drove put out 700bhp. Very very fun and loud when driving. We were limited to only like 130-140 mph, but when we got the ride w/ the intructor at the end, we were clocked at 185 mph. I wasn't driving so I can't claim that was "the fastest I ever drove". It was a blast to drive and you really have to fight the damn car to make all those left turns LOL. It's a damn work-out to drive that car, but well worth it IMO.
