The S13's are generally better built cars. they had better materials used in the interiors and better door hinges (s14's commonly have doors that are hard to shut due to week hinges/ never seen any on S13) the S14's feel a little more cheaply made but they are newer and were more expensive, so they are generaly better taken care of. It's getting hard to find really NICE S13's. You are a lot more likely to find a really nice S14.

Also S14 Se's had 5 lug wheels and very few has factory LSD. Just because it is an SE does not mean it had LSD. LSD was part of the Towing package option for S14 SE. Few ordered it. You will also find some non-SE S14's with power windows, it was an option.
