Sure, that might be the case.. but personally, if I had to put up with the hassles of rebuilds, tuning gremlins, poor mileage etc, I want to blow the doors off of whoever im lining up against and not just being even with them. My friend has more money than the average person, but not enough to have a fleet of nice cars to drive if the s2k goes down...
While on the topic of subjective things, I think it would be a tough case arguing the looks, sound or exclusively of a s2000, which in my mind isnt much more than a drop top civic, against a pure sports car like a 996 porsche or corvette which 60k easily buys.
