Default Re: Talon TSI vs Built Trans AM w/ Nitrous

To 01mmmZ28, well my intention was not to make it "sound simple" because it's not. It's a major project, but it can be done, perhaps not with an LS7, but with an LS2. It's not for a novice either, most likely one would have to take it to a shop that specializes in doing that. Plus, relocating the battery to the trunk is no biggie, just need an isolator. Car stereo shops can do that for you. As far as engine mounts and such, one can always cut and weld and custom fabricate. Just check how these guys dropped in a supercharged LS1 into the bay of a Mitsubishi Evo:

Video - Mitsubishi Evo 9 with a Vortech Supercharged 5.7L LS1 V8. its still being tuned at this very moment, S/C not quite hooked up just yet but bolted in.

Where there is a will, there's a way. And yes, some Corvette ZO6's do cost well over $70K, and there are some, like you mentioned, in the
$64.5K to $67K price range. I've seen them go as high as $88.6K for the Ron Fellows edition. You can see it at:
