you make that sound simple.....AND IT'S NOT. The LS7 is on a dry sump oil system. Therefor, putting it into an fbody is a pain in the ass. 1ST you have to deal w/ installing the dry sump system, move the battery to the trunk and install dry sump where battery used to be. Then there is the fitment issue, the bay of the fbody is not as wide as the vette, custom made headers are needed as is modifications to the steering shaft. Other issues include the tranny, motor mounts need relocated, tuning, rear end, driveshaft.

and the Zo6's are not 70k, there have been several in my area from $64,500-----$ 67,000.
