ross selling the site is not entirely with the intent to profit. most should know this site is a baby to ross.
dont blame ross. different people have to move on at some point of time. at this point, ross probably need to move on to another stage of his life.
for the past years, ross forked out money from his own pocket to run this hobby site for free for everyone. however as the site grows, the expenses increase. small shared host cannot take this large forum. operating cost increase with minimal revenue. so selling this site, ross is just trying to get back the money spent on operating it and promoting it. running a large site is not cheap.

to some regular members, this site might seems messed up or just a youtube/streetfire flip.
However, community is the thing. interaction is the thing.
Can you easily interact with same-minded people in youtube or from youtube comments?
You cant. but you can do it over here.
members post link to videos. same minded members comment about it with you...probably eventually going off topic... so what if it goes offtopic... as long as you enjoy interacting with the members...

hey.... as long as posts are in the correct category, no objectionable content and no intolerable personal insults, i have not much problem. personally i dont want to be too strict, so members can speakup fairly.
i trust that mods will be mature enough to determine which posts are tolerable.
regular members here are very direct, harsh, sacarstic...
this is because they already know each other well enough to do that.
i also own another forum (
Quarrel Network), the situation there could probably be worse than here. the members over there are of younger age group.
So if there is anything members want to feedback, can always post in the feedback forum....
although i can anticipate many not-nice feedbacks
which is good. at least someone will voice out something that we can look into.
