Hmmmm....good question. I'm gunna go ahead and say that more would be burnt in 1st gear due to the fact that the car was propelled from a stop and that the 1st gear is a power gear and the gearing is tighter in order to get the car into the powerband whereas 6th gear is an overdrive/cruising gear and has better gear ratio in 6th and the car has also been moving and would be under more inertia/forward force maybe using less gas. Then again, the speed you would have to be at in 6th gear to acheive those rpm's would be a high speed and then you would have to take into account wind resistance and that too has alot of force on the car that I would imagine would cause for more gas to be used. IDK.....Good question.
