Saabs have always been unique in their design. To take a car that's 95% Subaru and call it a Saab won't go well with Saab loyalists.
They are doing the same with a Chevy Trailblazer.

You got that right, me and my family have owned saabs for ever. I have a saab 9000 cse my father a 9000 aero and my mother a 9-3 viggen convertible. Now all of those cars are completely unique. And saabs motors are the best I know well cared for they easily will surpase 300k miles(ask me how I know). I will never buy a saab that fell under the GM ownership, although the 9-3 did it still is a large percent saab. However this 9-2 and 9-7 imo are junk,
