Yup, thats right. My tiny little town in my tiny little Portugal is about to see a Exotic car beeing born here, but I´m not excited about that.

Why?

Let me explain.

I live in what you can say is the centre of the sportscars in Portugal: BMW, Porsche, Maybach, etc have their national hq around here, the first portuguese F1 GPs were here, most of the best drivers are from here (3 out of the 4 portuguese drivers to reach F1 were born here) and in the early 90´s Ferrari said that we had the highest concentration of their cars per km in all of Europe. And right down the road from my house lives the CEIIA.

CEIIA is a high tech centre for automotive development, working with several manufacturers and Pininfarina for example. Now the owner of the local auto museum had the idea of building is own car and along with CEIIA decided to design a sportscar. They did all the work in 3 MONTHS!!! To have an idea, a car typicaly takes 4/5years.

And they now have shown the first computer designs of the car.

I dont like the name VINCI. Where did they get it? It doesnt sound portuguese. Was it inspired by Leonardo da Vinci or some crap like that?

It looks too damn much with the ALfa Romeo 8C, aparently it will be powered by a V6 3.2liter engine and about 300hp, for a price between 180000 to 300000€!!! It will have a production run of only 50cars. It has too much Ferrari lines, specially 250GTO/ Daytona in the rear and the hood the 599GTB, in the sides is mor Alfa 8C.

300000€ for 300hp and a Alfa look alike!? Are they fuçking with me!!!??

And the fact is the engine isnt decided yet. I have this really strong feeling its gonna suck... and its gonna be made where I live... :banghead:

It will be anounced in the 29th of this month... Im gonna move to another place and hide my face in shame... :mecry:

The thing is the museum makes alot of business selling classic Mercs 3000SL and Ferraris to the Middle East, so most of those guys might buy this. And I hope to God that its light enough to make good use of 300hp, and that its luxurious enough to justify that price.

P.S: this is the worst way to celebrate my 2000th post...
