That would put it closer to 255 (in the manual) at the wheels. So the Ion has a 40 hp advantage AND weighs around 600 lbs less. It wouldn't be a hard win.

Fair enough about the "at the wheels", I was talking at the crank, no big deal, but honestly 97talon, you can't tell me that Ion would beat a TT Z that bad...honestly. You can also tell by the white lines on the road that the Z is not even trying. Also:
1992 Nissan 300ZX Turbo 0-60: 5.7 1/4 mile:14.2
1993 Nissan 300ZX Turbo 0-60: 5.2 1/4 mile:13.8
1994 Nissan 300ZX Turbo 0-60: 6.0 1/4 mile:14.4
1995 Nissan 300ZX Turbo 0-60: 5.5 1/4 mile:13.9
however...
1991 Nissan 300ZX 2+2 N/A 0-60: 7.5 1/4 mile: 15.9
and...
2004 Saturn Ion Redline 0-60: 6.3 1/4 mile: 15.3
now, that is a stock reading, but you can see my point regardless. Add 100 whp to the Ion and if it is beating a TT Z by what, 8-10 lengths, it is running 12's or faster. Now, try and tell me again that is a TT Z or that he was trying or that the WHOLE DAMN THING IS BUUUUUUUUUUWWWWWLLLLSHHHYYYTTT
