Oh yes big rigs do nice burnouts! I used to work at a shipping company and we had smaller semis to move trailers around the shipping yard. We got bored and drag raced them down our company driveway, then grabbed 10 gal. buckets of bleach and started doing burnouts with them. It was cool, not close to as cool as that burnout but nice nonetheless.
