Im not one of those ppl. I recognize that there are a lot of other factors that come into play, such gearing, weight, aero, etc. To me, the most important factor for real world performance is area under the power curve.

I get a bit worked up about this sort of thing. I've had rotaries since I was 17, now 25 and am sick of hearing that sort of crap. Well actually its funny when I hear it and then beat them soundly with my "no torque".
Anyway, the RX8 should have beaten the 3 with relative ease imo.
