I totally agree with you though, I think there's an increasing lack of judgement and respect for other drivers around here in the past few years!!!
My GF had major damage to her old civic, and it was a hit and run in the train station parking Her rear DS door couldn't even properly open! She also got hit by an old lady as the lady was pulling out of a parking spot (GF wasn't moving) the lady almost left, she said after I ran up to her car to get her out.."Oh, I though I hit a post or something", there were no posts in about a 50 foot radius.
Then this one happened last year to my civic:
Some f*(ktard on my street decided to do this because of the relatively small "montreal 'one city'" campaign sign that was on my front lawn.
Then another one to my civic soon after, a guy in a large black, brand new SUV parks 6 inches from the PS of my car, and leaves a nice paint mark on the door where he opened it into mine, thankfully it was the beater. I opened my PS door and kicked it from the inside, then left him a colourfull note. in retrospect I shouldn't have done that, but whatever..
