it takes HUDGE amonts of tallent and raw skill to be a good drifter or a good ice racer. i doubt anyone here..myself included. has enough skill or tallent to truley drift. its one thing to pull of good drifts of variouse styles in the wallmart parking lot...its another to use all the styles and tecniques in a real race with other pro drifters...same for ice racing. its much diffrent to be a true ice racers than it is to boogie home on the icey interstate in your STi or your mom's outback. im covered in snonw here 9 months out of the year...both take tallent and skill...but ice driving is my fav because your reactions have to be more gentile and more presice. and even going steright on the ice...takes skill. you cant even let off the throttle on solid ice...if you do..your tires will be spining slower than the car and youll slide. if anyone here has real pro ice racing or drifting skill...then they know that you have to respect the other types of racing to fully appriciate their chosen sport.
