DSM drivers just like pushing things (boost is freakin addictive) so naturally under 20 lbs or more of boost, things are gunna start breaking, and given the circumstances most dsm engines are under, it's impressive how well those cast iron beasts hold up. Very few engines could out pass the 4g63 in reliability under that much boost and with awd drivetrains that are 10 or more years old.

I have to agree. I beat the crap outa my DSM and it just keeps coming back for more. The reason they are sometimes unreliable is because DSM owners beat the shit outa them. Take any car that is under above stock boost conditions and gets beat on dailly, they all break, honda, ford, chevy... you name it they all have issues. I don't understand why DSM's get the bad rap?
