Let me clearify, BOTH CARS ARE NOT PUSHING TO 1000 HORSEPOWER!
The Nicolas Kiesa's Skyline R34 GTR is 800bhp Kismo built and tuned, brought up to 2.7 litr. with T88 Turbo & redline at 9200 rpm. Mkiv's Toyota Supra is pushing to 780bhp, 20 less then the R34 GTR, BUT read the following ---> Both Mkiv's Supra and Kiesa's R34 GTR is running on normal street fuel except the tire differencies. The Kiesa's R34 GTR is running on pure normal street tires WHILE the Mkiv's Supra is running on MT ET radiel tires at the rear with alot better grip and temperature (from the burnout), THAT's the reasion the Mkiv's Supra did equal launch to the AWD Skyline GTR. Another thing is the Kiesa's R34 GTR had a bit problem with his vehicle and could NOT do hard AWD launch. Note closely at the oil pressure gauge during launch the pressure drops alot during first and second gear as the oem pump cant handle the those high rpm, the sump is also NOT bafled so the oil is escaping as well..
I'm sorry to deliver you guys Supra fan a bad news but the Kiesa's Skyline R34 GTR won the both races if you look carefully at the end of the 1/4 mile. Kiesa's Skyline R34 GTR did trap speed of 217,9 km/h and ET 10,89 seconds. Mkiv's Supra did trap speed of 208 km/h and ET 11,03 seconds
