Like he said though , if the car ( any car ) is not taken care of then it will not be reliable.I have owned 6 dsms , and beyond the crappy computers in my 1st gens( which is not exactly an unknown problem ) once you do the cap replacement you wont have to worry about that.And BASIC MAINTENENCE goes a long way.All my DSM'S have been bullitproof as a 10-15 yearold car can be.So if you dont think they are reliabe then get rid of them and get a boring civic dx and go about your bussiness :mecry:
